What is Easing Paw Animal Wellness?
Easing Paw Animal Wellness is preventative, non-invasive, non-medicated, restorative therapy for all animals young and old. It has no negative side effects and has long term benefits. While dramatic results can occur, it is usually not a quick fix.
What I offer:
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient energy modality that is initiated through attunement of the practitioner. Both Healing Touch for Animals® and Reiki are biofield, energy-based modalities. The name Reiki can be translated as ''universal life energy.'' Reiki is not Healing Touch for Animals.
What is Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA)?
Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) is a holistic energy therapy that benefits health and healing. HTA practitioners do hands-on work to balance the energy system within and surrounding the body. The healing energy is applied without visible signs! The goal of HTA is to restore harmony, energy, and balance within animal energy systems (Universal energy field) to support the self-healing process of the animal. Pain and anxiety are drastically reduced by the use of HTA. HTA is not Reiki.
There are no contraindications for HTA techniques, whereas acupressure may have contraindications. In addition, HTA techniques can be performed at a distance, which is ideal for working on animals that do not allow human contact, or even long distance where the HTA Practitioner and the animal receiving the HTA session are not in the same area, since all HTA sessions are done by setting the proper intention and accessing the Universal Energy.
What is Tellington TTouch?
Tellington TTouch works with pressure points of the body. It is a hands-on technique. Tellington TTouch is a method based on circular movements of the fingers and hands all over the body. The TTouch is done on the entire body, and each circular TTouch is complete within itself. The skin of the animal in moved in a clockwise direction. Pressure is adjusted for different animals and different parts of the body, depending upon what is comfortable and nonthreatening to the animal.
What is Acupressure?
Acupressure (finger pressure, no needles), like acupuncture (uses needles) is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. The so called meridians, channels, in which the Chi (life-force energy) and blood of the animal body circulate, run on the surface of the body and are connected with tissues and internally with the organs, moving the energy, balancing the Chi, which is transporting strength, nourishment, and healing properties, relieving or preventing blockages and excesses that can cause discomfort, pain, and disease.
How many sessions will my pet need?
The number of sessions will vary greatly depending on your reasons for beginning therapy, your cooperation and that of your animal. During the initial consultation, we will discuss the best course of treatment under all the circumstances (included in fee).
